Jaiprakash Associates has tumbled 3.6% to Rs 179. HDFC Bank, Reliance Infrastructure and Hindustan Unilever have plunged 2.9% each to Rs 1,129, Rs 1,016 and Rs 226, respectively.
Cipla has declined 2.3% at Rs 212, while DLF has slipped 2.1% to Rs 487.
HDFC and Mahindra & Mahindra have dropped 1.8% each at Rs 2,132 and Rs 567, respectively.
Maruti and Tata Steel have lost 1.7% each to Rs 723 and Rs 842, respectively.

Wipro and ITC are down 1.4% each to Rs 476 and Rs 197, respectively.
Grasim has declined 1.2% to Rs 2,184.
On the other side, Ranbaxy has surged 4.5% to Rs 567. TCS has gained 2.4% to Rs 910.
BHEL has moved up 2.3% at Rs 1,554. ICICI Bank has advanced 1.2% to Rs 751.
Tata Motors is up nearly 1% to Rs 512.
The markets breadth is marginally positive - out of 2,557 stocks traded so far, 1,375 have advanced, 1,094 have declined and 88 are unchanged.
