The Sensex continues to trade in a narrow range and is trading up 125 points at 19,542, down 92 points from the day's high.The Nifty has gained 39 points at 5,868. The midcap index up 1% and the smallcap index at 0.9% is outperforming the main index at 0.7%.
On the BSE sectoral indices, Consumer Durables continues to lead at 1.8% followed by Health care, Oil & Gas, Metal and Teck. However, there was some profit booking in the Auto and Bankex indices.
The gainers on the sensex are Reliance Communication up nearly 5% followed by ACC, Bharti Airtel, RIL up nearly 3%, Sterlite, Hindalco and TCS adding 1.5% each.
On the losers list are HDFC, Wipro down nearly 1%, BHEL and SBI follows.
