Arrivals of jeera crop increased to 40,000-42,000 bags while off-take was unchanged ~30,000 bags at auctions held at Unjha market. Spot rates were down & quoted in the range of '132-'134 per kg, as per local traders.
Spot rates of pepper garbled declined '361 per kg and that of un-garbled was down at '346 per kg. Arrivals declined to 12 tons while trades too were down at 10 tons at auctions held at Kochi market, as per IPSTA.
Arrivals of turmeric crop declined to below 20,000 bags at Nizamabad market & ~6,000 bags arrived across mandis of Erode. Spot rates were quoted in the range of '65-'68 per kg across different trading centers, as per local traders.
Average price of small cardamom increased to '695 per kg while maximum price offered was up at '938 per kg, as per spice board.
Total inflow of small cardamom crop increased to 61.9 tons from which 60.6 tons were sold at SIGC auction held at Kochi.
Arrivals of Soya bean crop were steady ~1lakh bags across MP market & about 2,500-3,000 bags at mandis of Indore while supply of 0.2lakh bags was seen at mandis of Rajasthan & 3lakh bags each across mandis Maharashtra, as per trade
Spot rates of soya bean crop offered by planters were unchanged at '35-'36 per kg while rates across mandis of Indore were steady at '34-'35 per kg, as per local traders.
Inflow of mustard seed crop declined to 144,605 quintals, while average of closing spot rates were down at '3,093.4 per quintal, as per agriculture marketing board of Rajasthan. Total arrivals of mustard seed crop increased to more than 5.5lakh bags across major trading center while spot rates declined & were quoted in the range of '33-'35 per kg based on location, as per market reports.
Chana futures declined on the exchange counter, triggered by profit-booking amid increase in supply across major trading centers & steady offtake among local buyers. Spot rates were up & quoted at '34.5-'35 per kg.
Mentha oil futures continued their bearish trend on the exchange counter while spot rates too were down by another '15-'20 per kg, amid poor demand & steady supply of ~100-120 oil-drums at local mandis.
