As per reports, S Kumars has bought Scottish fashion chain Internacionale (for an undisclosed amount), which was put up for sale after its parent collapsed earlier this year.
About a month back, the company had also acquired the controlling stake in one of Italy's leading fabric manufacturers, Klopman. S.Kumars, which has ambitious overseas acquisition plans, owns the Reid and Taylor, Carmichael House and Belmonte brands.
The company's products are sold in over 30,000 outlets across the country. The stock has corrected over 43 per cent from its 52-week high of Rs 177.90 made on November 16, 2007. The stock made a 52-week low of Rs 79.10 on March 24, 2008.
