Markets end at record highs

Strength in capital goods and banking stocks propelled the indices

The markets scaled fresh all-time highs on the last day of April derivatives series due to strength in capital goods and banking stocks. The Sensex ended at 22,876, higher by 118 points and the Nifty ended at 6849, up 34 points.
