Markets end nearly 2% down dragged by index heavyweights

Markets ended nearly 2% lower dragged by index heavyweights ICICI Bank, RIL and ITC along with weakness among global markets.  

The Bombay Stock Exchange’s 30-share Sensex provisionally closed at 19,310 down 333 points or 1.69%. The National Stock Exchange’s 50-share S&P CNX Nifty provisionally closed at 5,852 down 91 points or 1.53%.
