Markets have a firm start; Sensex gains more than 100 pts

The markets have opened in the green this morning, aided by modest gains among their Asian counterparts and tracking the positive cues from trading in SGX Nifty. The Sensex is at 22,584, higher by 139 points and the Nifty is at 6734, up 35 points.
