The markets continue to move sideways with the Sensex down 39 points at 18,930 and the Nifty shed 11 points to 5,675. In the broader markets there is no change with the smallcaps continuing to trade falt and the midcaps shedding 0.2%.
On the BSE sectoral charts, Bankex has moved into the green, gaining nearly 0.3% along with FMCG, Power, Oil & Gas and Capital Goods. Health Care has slipped further and is at the bottom of the chart, losing 1%. Realty and IT are the other major losers.
Tata Motors up 2% continue as the top Sensex gainer closely followed by Bajaj Auto, Jaiprakash Associates, TCS and SBI adding 1% each.
Sterlite, Mahindra & Mahindra down 3%, Cipla, Bharti Airtel, Wipro, Infosys,Maruti Suzuki and DLF shedding 1% each are the losers on the Sensex.
The market breadth is neutral.
