Masoor, arhar declines on subdued demand

Masoor and arhar prices fell by up to Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today owing to slackness in demand at prevailing higher levels.

Traders said slackened demand against adequate stocks, mainly put pressure on masoor and arhar prices.

In the national capital, masoor small and bold prices declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,550-2,750 and Rs 2,700-2,950 per quintal, respectively.

Arhar shed Rs 50 and its dal dara variety declined by Rs 100 to Rs 3,100-3,600 and Rs 4,650-5,050 per quintal, respectively.

Following are today's quotations per quintal:
