Masoor, its dal up on retailers demand

In restricted activity, masoor and its dal prices edged higher by Rs 50 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on increased offtake by retailers amid restricted arrivals.

Prices, generally fluctuated in a narrow range on the wholesale buying activity and settled around previous levels. Traders said rising demand from retailers, against restricted arrivals pushed up wholesale masoor and its dal prices.

Masoor small and bold added Rs 50 each to Rs 3,250-3,450 and Rs 3,450-3,700. Its dal local and best quality traded higher by the same margin at Rs 3,950-4,050 and Rs 4,250-4,550 per quintal.
