Masoor, moth declines on subdued demand

Masoor and moth prices weakened up to Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today due to sluggish demand. 

Traders said increased arrivals in the market against subdued demand mainly led to fall in masoor and moth prices.

In the national capital, masoor small and bold prices declined by Rs 50 each to Rs 3,050-3,250 and Rs 3,200-3,450, respectively. 

Dal masoor local and best quality traded lower by the same margin to Rs 3,600-3,700 and Rs 3,900-4,200 per quintal, respectively. Moth also weakened by Rs 100 to Rs 2,000-2,300 per quintal.
