Menthol prices rose by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on pick up in industrial demand against restricted arrivals from producing regions.

However, other chemicals continued to trade in a narrow range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.

Marketmen said pick up in industrial demand influenced menthol prices. In the national capital, menthol bold crystal, flake and oil prices were up by Rs 5 each to Rs 2820, Rs 2720 and Rs 2520 per kg respectively.
