Mentha oil futures for May rose by Rs 8.60, or 0.87%, to Rs 993.10 per kg in 191 lots.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract moved up by Rs 6.20, or 0.61%, to Rs 1,030 per kg in 1,230 lots.
Prices rose as speculators created fresh positions amid strong domestic and export demand.
Restricted arrivals from producing belt Chandausi in Uttar Pradesh also supported the upside.
