Menthol remains weak on sluggish demand

Menthol prices fell by Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today due to sluggish demand from consuming industries amid adequate stocks.

Menthol bold crystal, menthol flake and mentha oil prices remained weak and shed another Rs 5 each to Rs 1,160, Rs 1,115 and Rs 1,030 per kg, respectively.  

Market analysts said sluggish demand from consuming industries against adequate stocks position mainly led to fall in menthol prices.
