Menthol rises on buying support

Menthol prices rose Rs 5 per kg in the national capital today on buying support from pharmaceutical units.

Tight stocks position due to fall in supplies from the producing belts also influenced the prices.

Menthol bold crystal, menthol flake and mentha oil prices rose by Rs 5 each to Rs 975, Rs 955 and Rs 900 per kg, respectively.

Marketmen said fresh buying support from pharma and other consuming industries, helped menthol prices to rise.
