Menthol rises on tight stocks

Menthol prices rose by 5 per kg in the national capital today owing to fresh buying support from pharma and other consuming units amid tight stocks.   

Restricted supplies from producing belts also influenced the prices.

Menthol bold crystal, menthol flake and mentha oil prices rose by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,165, Rs 1,120 and Rs 1,035 per kg, respectively.
