Menthol strengthens on pick up in demand

Menthol prices strengthened by Rs 5 per kg in the local chemical market today, on increased industrial offtake. 

Elsewhere, other chemicals continued to move in narrow range on lack of buying interest and settled around previous levels. Traders said increased industrial offtake mainly helped menthol prices to strengthen.    

Menthol bold crystal, flake and oil prices remained in demand and added another Rs 5 each to Rs 1,365, Rs 1,325 and Rs 1,275 per kg, respectively.
