Castorseeds futures declined moderately in an otherwise lacklustre oils and oilseeds market due to poor export enquiries.
Refined palmolein also softened on lack of buying support from retailers.
Meanwhile, groundnut oil, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil traded stable in the absence of market moving factors.
In the futures section, castorseeds for March delivery resumed higher at Rs 4,400, but later fell back to touch a low of Rs 4,325 before closing at Rs 4,375 from overnight closing level of Rs 4,395, showing a fall of Rs 20 per tonne.
Turning to edible-oil section, refined palmolein moved down slightly to Rs 585 as against Rs 586 yesterday.
Groundnut oil, however, held steady at Rs 760 per 10 kg.
However, Castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil closed unaltered at Rs 5,300, Rs 1,090 and Rs 710 respectively.
