Prices of medium sugar variety edged up modestly in a mixed trade at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to good demand from consumers coupled with better stockists offtake.
However, small sugar declined on higher supply from the mills.
Medium sugar quality (M-30) moved up by Rs 5 per quintal to Rs 2,825/2,900 as against Rs 2,820/2,900.
Small sugar quality (S-30) fell by Rs 10 per quintal to Rs 2,770/2,820 from yesterday's closing level of Rs 2,780/ 2,830.

Small sugar (S-30) quality Rs 2,770/2,820 (Rs 2,780/2,830) and Medium sugar (M-30) quality Rs 2,825/2,900(Rs 2,820/2,900).
