Moong dal, wheat show upward trend

Price of moong dal and wheat moved up while all other major commodities remained unchanged in the wholesale foodgrains market here today.

Moong dal and wheat went up further by Rs 100 and Rs.50 per quintal to Rs 7500 and Rs.1850 from its previous rates of Rs7400 and Rs.1800 respectively.

All other commodities maintained their previous trends.

Following are the today's rates per quintal: Thoor dal Rs 6,000, urad dal Rs 7,200, moong dal Rs 7,500, gram dal Rs 2,850, sugar Rs 2,650, wheat Rs 1,850, maida (90 kgs)Rs 1,750 and sooji (90 Kgs) Rs 1,900.
