Moong and its dal prices gained Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on selective buying followed by pick up in demand from retailers.
However, moth and arhar lacked necessary buying support and ended lower. Marketmen said pick up in retailers demand helped moong and its dal prices to improve at the wholesale market.
Moong gained Rs 100 to Rs 6,300-6,600, while its dal chilka local and moong dhoya local traded higher by the similar margin at Rs 7,000-7,400 and Rs 7,100-7,300 per quintal.
