Most active stocks on the BSE

Essar oil continues to lead the value chart with a total turnover of Rs 837.17 crore. It is followed by Unitech (Rs 226.27 crore), DLF(Rs 189.04 crore), HDIL(Rs  170.63) and Tata Steel(Rs 153.60 crore).

Satyam Computer now tops the volumes chart with trades of 57.77 million shares. It is followed by Essar Oil (52.81 million), IFCI (25 million), Unitech (24.8 million) and Kashyap Technologies (Rs 24.35 million) shares on the BSE so far.

Essar oil has topped the value chart on the BSE today,with a total turnover of Rs 730.68 crore. It was followed by Unitech (Rs 119.15 crore), HDIL(Rs 71.37 crore), Suzlon Energy (Rs 67.13 crore) and Reliance Natural Resources (Rs 61.30 crore).

Essar Oil has also topped the volumes chart with trades of 46.58 million. It is followed by Satyam Computer (Rs 24.23 million), Kashyap Technologies (Rs 14.56 million, Unitech (13.68 million) and IFCI (11.94 million) shares on the BSE.
