In restricted activity, moth prices fell sharply by Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today, owing to slackness in demand due to adequate stocks.
Elsewhere, other pulses traded in a narrow range in restricted buying activity and settled around previous levels.
Traders said easy availability of stocks against subdued demand mainly led to decline in moth prices.
In the national capital, moth moved down by Rs 100 to Rs 2,300-2,600 per quintal.
