MT Educare hits lifetime high on heavy volumes

The stock rallied 10% to Rs 162, extending its previous day's 7% gain on the National Stock Exchange.

MT Educare has rallied 10% to Rs 162, extending its 7% gain in the previous session, on the back of heavy volumes on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The stock hit a lifetime high of Rs 165 on the NSE in intra-day trade today. The trading volumes on the counter jumped more than five-fold with a combined 1.41 million shares representing 3.53% of total equity of the company changed hand on the NSE and BSE till 10:46 am.

On Thursday, Abhinandan Leasing and Finance had purchased 206,204 equity shares of MT Educare at price of Rs 146.80 per share, the NSE bulk deal data shows.

The company launched its Robmate+ App in co-ordination with Global Education Trust (GET) its CSR partner.

Robmate+ is App containing recorded video lectures by expert facilities and is available online, which help students revise and sharpen concepts by viewing lectures, repeatedly to their satisfaction, the company said in a filing.

MT Educare Ltd is an education support and coaching services provider for students in the secondary and higher secondary school and for students pursuing graduation degree in commerce, preparing for various competitive examinations and undertaking chartered accountancy examinations.
