Mukand surges after block deals

Mukand has surged almost 20% to Rs 55.80 on the BSE after a huge block deal executed on the counter.
Till 10:16 a.m. around 3.23 million equity shares representing 2.3% of total equity of Mukand have changed hands on the counter on the BSE. An average 31,000 shares were traded daily in past two weeks.
The names of buyers and sellers are not immediately known.
Currently, the stock was trading 17% higher at Rs 54.25 on the BSE. The S&P BSE Sensex up 0.04% at 25,970 points.
