Nickel falls 0.5% on sluggish demand

Sluggish demand from alloy-makers in the spot market affected the trade

Nickel for delivery in February fell Rs 4.70, or 0.51% to Rs 908.20 per kg in 43,105 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the March traded lower by Rs 4.50, or 0.49% to Rs 915.80 per kg in 7680 lots.

Prices went down as speculators offloaded their positions on the back of sluggish demand from alloy-makers in the spot market.
