Nickel up by 0.20% on strong global cues

Rise in nickel futures has been attributed to fresh positions created by speculators in line with a firm global trend

Nickel prices up by 0.20% to Rs 803.30 per kg in futures trade today as speculators created fresh positions, tracking a strong cues from overseas markets.
 
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, nickel for delivery in July rose by Rs 1.60, or 0.20% to Rs 893.30 per kg in business turnover of 5523 lots.
 
Likewise, the metal for August contract added Rs 1.10, or 0.14%, to Rs 811.50 per kg in 575 lots.

Meanwhile, nickel climbed 0.3% to USD 13,550 a tonne on the London Metal Exchange.
