SmartInvestor : Markets seem to be consolidating ahead of the expiry of May F&O series tomorrow. The Nifty has held on to 7,300 levels so far. How have the roll-overs to the June series been so far? At what levels are May Nifty futures set to expire?
Shshank Mehta : For the current Series Nifty is set to expire around 7375 levels. Rollovers will be a bit on the weaker side this time around as traders holding short position may not choose to roll over their positions to the next Series; my expectation is that roll overs in Nifty could be around 65%.
