Pipavav Shipyard up 6% on bulk carrier launch

Pipavav Shipyard has soared 6% to Rs 78 on reports that the company has launched two Panamax bulk carriers, each of 74,500 DWT for the Golden Ocean group client.

Today, the scrip started at Rs 74 which also was the lowest for the day and went on to hit a high of Rs 79 thus far.

A combined 13 million shares have changed hands thus far as against 7 million shares traded over the past two weeks
