Pistachio up on fresh buying fall in supply

Pistachio prices today rose by up to Rs 10 per kg in the national capital largely on the back of fresh buying by retailers and stockists.  

Fall in supplies from overseas markets also supported the rise in the prices. 

Pistachio Irani, hairati and peshwari increased by Rs 5-10 to conclude at Rs 685-705, Rs 855-870 and Rs 1,050-1,090 per kg, respectively.

Market analysts said fresh buying by retailers and stockists amid fall in supplies from overseas markets mainly pushed up pistachio prices in the dry fruit market here.
