Power Grid replaces BHEL in Sensex

This is part of the exchange's semi-annual reconstitution for S&P BSE indices and the changes will be effective June 20

Bharat Heavy Electricals has been replaced by Power Grid Corporation of India in the Sensex-30 stocks index.

This is part of the exchange's semi-annual reconstitution for S&P BSE indices and the changes will be effective June 20.

In BSE 100, Cairn India has been replaced by Bajaj Finance.

As many as four banks -- Syndicate Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, UCO Bank and Allahabad Bank -- have exited BSE 200 index.

Firms like Aditya Birla Nuvo, Jet Airways and Welspun India are some of the notable additions in BSE 200.
