Pratibha Ind rallies on Rs 1,492-cr constructions orders

The tunneling division of the company bagged a contract amounting of Rs 1,090 crore from DMRC

Pratibha Industries has rallied 9% to Rs 50.40, after the company said that it has secured orders worth of Rs 1,492 crore in tunneling and building division.

“The tunneling division of the company bagged a contract amounting of Rs 1,090 crore from DMRC. It involves design and construction of tunnel between Motibagh and Lajpat Nagar stations of Delhi MRTS projects of Phase III,” Pratibha Industries said in a filing.

The building division has bagged a contract of Rs 345 crore from IREO Private Limited for construction of group housing project at Gurgaon and another Rs 57 crore from Raheja Universal for its commercial project, it added.

A combined 577,671 shares have changed hands on the counter so far, against an average 240,000 shares that were traded daily in past two weeks on both the exchanges.
