In Asia, all the major markets were trading in the red. Nikkei started in the red, down 1.2% along with Shanghai Composite, Straits Times,Seoul Composite and Taiwan Weighted losing 0.1-0.5%.
Hang Seng was the only exception, which was trading higher by 0.8%.

At close, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 0.19 percent, at 15,658, a record close. The Standard & Poor's 500 Index was up 0.16 percent, at 1,709.67, also a record. The Nasdaq Composite Index was up 0.38 percent, at 3,690.
Stocks to Watch
Essar Steel and JSW are likely to see some price action as both the companies are considering to increase product prices for August.
Coal India will continue to be under pressure as the strike decision will be taken today.
Some of the quarterly results expected today are Aptech, EIH, NDTV and Tata Chemicals.
