Provisional: Markets end flat amid rangebound trade

IT majors ended firm amid a weakening rupee while capital goods shares ended lower.

Markets consolidated on Friday and ended lower for the fourth straight session as investors remained cautious and booked profits at higher levels.

The 30-share Sensex ended down 70 points at 20,655 and the 50-share Nifty ended down 31 points at 6,134.
