PTC India gains after arm commissions wind power project in MP

Shares of PTC India were up over 2.5% at Rs 63.90 after the company announced that its subsidiary PTC Energy has commissioned wind power project at Madhya Pradesh.

PTC Energy Ltd, a subsidiary of PTC India Ltd, has achieved successful commissioning of its 30MW wind power project at Jaora, Ratlam District in Madhya Pradesh on March 08, 2016, the company said in a release.

The project comprising of 15 No. Gamesa make Wind Turbine Generators of 2MW capacity each has been successfully synchronised through  2 no. 33mV Ratlam wind Farm Feeders at 132/33kV Jaora substation of M.P Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitran Co. Ltd, the release added.

The stock opened at Rs 62.55 and touched a high of Rs 64.40. At 12:30pm, over 993,000 shares were traded on both the stock exchanges.
