The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) remained more or less unchanged at 492.29 at 5:00 PM IST on Thursday as compared to the previous close.

Among Indian GDRs, there were 5 gainers, 3 losers and 54 remained unchanged. The major gainers were Ranbaxy (up 4.40 per cent to $14.25), Reliance (up 2.92 per cent to $12.35) and State Bank of India (up 0.70 per cent to $14.30).

The losers were ITC (down 0.76 per cent to $13.10), Bajaj Auto (down 0.49 per cent to $10.25) and L&T (down 0.39 per cent to $7.75).

Among Indian ADRs, 4 advanced and 5 lost ground. The major gainers were Rediff (up 5.58 per cent to $2.46), ICICI Bank (up 2.05 per cent to $6.48) and HDFC Bank (up 1.21 per cent to $15.10).

The major losers were Satyam Infoway (down 5.88 per cent to $3.20), Satyam Computer (down 2.56 per cent to $9.50) and VSNL (down 2.40 per cent to $3.25).

In reaction to the war, the Nikkei 225 average put on 1.79 per cent to 8,195.05 and the broader Topix rose 2.33 per cent to 807.48. In South Korea, the Kospi soared 4.92 per cent to 568.46, while Taiwan
