Reliance Infrastructure has moved up 2% to Rs 1,064, after the company announced that it had won a Rs 2,960 crore project for six-laning of the Delhi-Agra highway from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).
The contract is based on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer toll model. The project, which is part of the National Highways Development Project (NHDP), aims at widening the highway from Delhi to Agra through Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
The stock opened almost flat at Rs 1,043, has touched high of Rs 1,069 on the BSE. Around 93,000 equity shares have changed hands on the counter so far.
