Sahara Housingfina stock tanks 15%
The fall follows Sebi's move to freeze bank accounts of Sahara Group companies
K Raghavendra Kamath Mumbai Shares of Sahara Housingfina Corporation fell about 15% today after the market regulator Sebi froze bank accounts of Sahara Group companies yesterday.
Sebi froze accounts and properties of Sahara India Real Estate Corporation (SIREC) and Sahara Housing Investment Corporation (SHIC). It also asked the group to deposit SHIC's cash and bank balance worth Rs 309.19 crore and SIREC's worth Rs 1,655 crore with it.
Sahara Housingfina stock was trading at Rs 46.45 at 12 noon.
