Satnam To Grow Basmati Under Contract

Satnam Overseas, one of the leading exporter of basmati rice, has decided to venture into contract farming to hedge the risk of rising price of the commodity.

Bhushan Arora, vice president of SOL, said company was looking at sourcing 30 per cent of its production through contract farming.
