Prices of select pulses rose by up to Rs 200 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on pick-up in retailers demand.
Traders said increased demand from retailers amid decline in arrivals from producing regions mainly pushed up select wholesale pulses prices.
In the national capital, gram and it dal local variety rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,675-2,700 and Rs 3,175-3,190, respectively, while dal best quality moved up by Rs 100 to Rs 3,350-3,475 per quintal.
Besan shakti-bhog and Rajdhani followed suit and traded higher at Rs 1,350 each per 35 kg.
Lobia gained Rs 200 to Rs 4,900-5,400, while peas white and green traded higher by Rs 75 each to Rs 2,300-2,400 and Rs 2,450-2,650 per quintal, respectively.
