The Sensex opened almost flat at 10,102 - up two points. The index touched a low of 10,071, and a high of 10,162 in morning trades so far. The index is now down 40 points at 10,059.
Tata Motors has rallied 4.5% to Rs 187. DLF has surged over 4% to Rs 320.
Jaiprakash Associates and ONGC have moved up 2.5% each to Rs 91 and Rs 726, respectively.
Tata Steel and Reliance Communications have gained 2% each at Rs 233 and Rs 220, respectively.
Ranbaxy, Larsen & Toubro and SBI are up around 1.5% each at Rs 221, Rs 832 and Rs 1,305, respectively.
Wipro has plunged 2.5% to Rs 242. ICICI Bank has shed 1.8% at Rs 464.
HDFC and Infosys have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 1,498 and Rs 1,170, respectively.
TCS and Sterlite are down over 1% each at Rs 507 and Rs 278, respectively.
