Sensex down 66pts in early trades

The Sensex opened 51 points lower at 8,951, and is now down 66 points at 8,936.

ICICI Bank has dropped nearly 2.5% to Rs 330. Larsen & Toubro has slipped over 2% to Rs 596.

DLF and Tata Motors have shed 1.7% each at Rs 170 and Rs 169, respectively.

Jaiprakash Associates and Reliance Infrastructure have slipped over 1.5% each to Rs 79 and Rs 477, respectively.

HDFC, SBI, Bharti Airtel and SBI are down over 1% each.

Hindalco has gained 3% at Rs 46.

Grasim, Tata Steel and Sterlite are up 1% each at Rs 1,477, Rs 175 and Rs 317, respectively.
