Sensex down over 300 points dragged by index heavyweights

Markets slump over 1.5% dragged by index heavyweights ICICI Bank, RIL and ITC. Other losers include HDFC Bank, L&T, Bharti Airtel, ONGC, Tata Motors, SBI and Tata Steel.

By 15:15, Sensex plunged by 302 points at 19,340, and the Nifty down 88 points at 5,855 levels.
