Sensex down over 600pts; ONGC, TCS drop 6%

The Sensex is now down 633 points at 13,368.

Reliance Infrastructure has slumped 10.3% to Rs 834, and Satyam has plunged 9.5% to Rs 368.

DLF has tumbled over 8% to Rs 429, and Jaiprakash Associates has shed 7.5% at Rs 146.

Sterlite has dropped nearly 7% to Rs 454. Reliance Communications and Ranbaxy have slipped over 6.5% each to Rs 365 and Rs 424, respectively.

ONGC and Hindalco have declined 6.3% each to RS 958 and Rs 113, respectively.

TCS, Wipro and ICICI Bank are down around 6% each at Rs 760, Rs 395 and Rs 615, respectively.

Out of 2,572 stocks traded so far, 2,304 have declined, 230 have advanced and 38 are unchanged.
