The Sensex opened flat at 16,111, down 12 points. The index however rebounded into the positive zone and is now at 16,129, up six points.
Sterlite has advanced 2.5% to Rs 758. BHEL has added 2% to Rs 2,280.
Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance and Tata Steel are up over 1% each at Rs 851, Rs 2,102 and Rs 462, respectively.
Hero Honda, ITC and Grasim Industries are down over 1% each at Rs 1,645, Rs 226 and Rs 2,695, respectively.
