Jaiprakash Associates has zoomed 13% to Rs 77. ICICI Bank and Sterlite have soared 7.7% each to Rs 443 and Rs 292, respectively.
Reliance Infrastructure has surged 7% to Rs 515, and Reliance Communicaitons has rallied 6.5% to Rs 247.
Satyam and Reliance have gained over 6% each at Rs 307 and Rs 1,402, respectively. TCS has added 5.8% at Rs 526.
Wipro has moved up 5.5% to Rs 296. Infosys and Tata Steel have advanced around 4.5% each to Rs 1,356 and Rs 263, respectively.
Larsen & Toubro and DLF are up nearly 4% each to Rs 843 and Rs 283, respectively.
Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) has plunged over 4% to Rs 400.
