Sensex marginally down; Rel Infra gains 3%

The Sensex has recovered most of its losses and is now down 41 points at 9,577. Earlier in the day, the index opened 60 points lower at 9,559, touched a low of 9,487 in morning trades.
Ranbaxy has plunged nearly 3% to Rs 215. Infosys and Maruti have shed 2.5% each at Rs 1,271 and Rs 127, respectively.
Jaiprakash Associates, ONGC and Bharti Airtel have dropped 1.7% each to Rs 75, Rs 695 and Rs 663, respectively.
ICICI Bank, BHEL and Reliance are down around 1% each at Rs 430, Rs 1,432 and Rs 1,371, respectively.
DLF has surged 5.7% to Rs 159. Mahindra & Mahindra has rallied 3.5% to Rs 291.
Reliance Infrastructure has gained 3% at Rs 558. Hindalco has moved up 1.8% to Rs 46.
Tata Motors and Reliance Communications are up 1.3% each at Rs 138 and Rs 176, respectively.
The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,215 stocks traded so far, 1,390 have advanced, 736 have declined and 89 are unchanged.
