Sensex rebounds... Infosys, TCS perk up

The Sensex opened 47 points lower at 14,619, and soon touched a low of 14,527. The index thereafter rebounded into the positive zone and touched a high of 14,726.

The Sensex is now up 11 points at 14,677.

Grasim, SBI and Reliance Communications have moved up around 1.5% each to Rs 2,420, Rs 1,721 and Rs 314, respectively.

Infosys and TCS have advanced over 1% each to Rs 1,755 and Rs 747, respectively.

Sterlite has shed 2.7% at Rs 633. Mahindra & Mahindra has slipped 2% to Rs 685.

Tata Power and Maruti have dropped 1.8% each to Rs 1,061 and Rs 1,035, respectively.

NTPC, Ranbaxy and Jaiprakash Associates have declined around 1.5% each to Rs 211, Rs 262 and Rs 204, respectively.
