Sensex recovers over 300pts; now down 549pts

The Sensex has recoverd over 300 points from the day's low of 13,151, and is now down 549 points at 13,452.

Reliance Infrastructure has slumped 9.6% to Rs 840, and Satyam has plunged 8.8% to Rs 371.

DLF has tumbled 8% to Rs 430, and Jaiprakash Associates has shed 7% at Rs 146.

Ranbaxy and ONGC have dropped around 6.5% each to Rs 424 and Rs 957, respectively.

Sterlite, Hindalco and Reliance Communications have declined 6% each to RS 457, Rs 114 and Rs 368, respectively.

Tata Motors and TCS are down over 6% each at Rs 390 and Rs 766, respectively.

Out of 2,324 stocks traded so far, 2,324 have declined, 253 have advanced and 36 are unchanged.
