The Sensex has recovered parially and is now at 16,215, down 50 points.
The NSE Nifty is now at 4,812, down 16 points.
The BSE Metal index has slipped 1% to 13,304.
Sterlite has declined 4% to Rs 719. Hindalco has dropped 2.5% to Rs 121.
Grasim Industies, DLF, ACC, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Communication, ONGC have decreased over 1.5% each.
SBI has advanced 2% to Rs 1,956.
Hindustan Unilever, Wipro, Jaiprakash Associates, Mahindra & Mahindra are up over 1% each.
